Welcome to Teen Outreach Pregnancy Services (TOPS) blog, we are a non-profit organization that was started ten years ago in Tucson, Arizona. We have grown from 2 employees working out of a tiny living room to over 50 workers throughout Arizona teaching Healthy Pregnancy and Childbirth classes in over 20 locations.
Arizona is known to be the 3rd highest ranked state for teen pregnancy, TOPS was created because of this. Our founder who was previously a labor and delivery nurse at Tucson Medical Center was beginning to see an enormous about of teenagers giving birth without support or parenting education. Throughout the years we have helped over 400 girls receive classes ranging from nutrition and exercise during pregnancy, how to deliver a healthy baby, breastfeeding, Lamaze, healthy relationships, parenting, and a ton more.
